@Maia__DT Rounding on her roommate, Hazel’s squeal matched her own.

@Terry__DT She nodded —maybe a little to rapidly— and started slowly climbing the stairs once more with a couple of backward glances to him.

Careful to pay close attention to her feet the rest of the way, she broke into a sprint at the top to go find Maia.

She smiled, but was very careful to control her reaction as to not seem too eager.

@Terry__DT Starting to move slowly up the flight again now that he had caught up, she talked loudly enough for him to hear her from the step below.
