CBI Closure Report: A Case Closed or Justice Denied?

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) reportedly closed its investigation [Source: 1 and 2] into the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput (SSR) with no evidence of foul play. However, this conclusion has not convinced his family, friends, and independent observers. New testimonies, forensic anomalies, and disturbing revelations continue to emerge (pertaining to the murder angle), contradicting the suicide narrative and keeping the demand for justice alive.

1. Priyanka Singh: “Sushant Did Not Hang Himself”

Sushant’s sister, Priyanka Singh, has made shocking claims, asserting that her brother did not die by hanging. She stated:

“There was no distance between the bed and the ceiling fan. How could he have hanged himself?”

She also pointed out that no one (from family) saw him hanging. When his body was discovered, he was reportedly lying on the bed, contradicting the official narrative that he was found hanging [Sources: 3, 4, 5, and 6].

2. Mortuary Attendant’s Shocking Testimony

Roopkumar Shah, a Cooper Hospital mortuary staff member present during Sushant’s post-mortem, has claimed that SSR was murdered [Sources: 7 , 8, and 9]. He stated:

“There were multiple injury marks on his body and two to three marks on his neck. It didn’t look like suicide.”

Shah further alleged that the autopsy was rushed and no proper forensic examination was conducted.

3. No One From Family Saw Sushant Hanging

Another major claim that questions the suicide theory is that no eyewitness has confirmed seeing Sushant hanging. His father revealed that when a family member reached the crime scene, Sushant’s body was already lying on the bed and not hanging from the ceiling [Sources: 10 and 11].

4. Fear for Life After Disha Salian’s Death

Sushant was reportedly deeply disturbed after the mysterious death of his former manager, Disha Salian, on 8th June 2020. His sister, Priyanka Singh, stated [Sources: 12 and 13]:

“Sushant told me, ‘They won’t spare me now.’ He feared for his life.”

This fear, coupled with reports that Sushant fainted upon hearing about Disha’s death, adds to the speculation that both deaths may be connected.

5. Time of Death Missing from Autopsy Report

The autopsy report of Sushant reportedly did not mention the time of death [Sources: 14 and 15], an essential detail in forensic investigations. According to Sushant’s family lawyer, this omission raises serious concerns about the handling of the case.

6. Neck Marks and Suspicious Injuries

Sushant’s family lawyer told the Supreme Court that the mark on Sushant’s neck appeared to be from a belt, not a rope. This claim, along with the multiple injuries mentioned by the mortuary attendant, further contradicts the suicide theory [Sources: 16th source and refer to sources of point no. 2].

7. Sushant Wanted to Hold a Press Conference

Sushant Singh Rajput wanted to hold a press conference before his death [refer to the sources of point no. 4]. His sister, Priyanka Singh, stated:

“Sushant fainted after hearing about Disha Salian’s death. He wanted to expose something.”

This revelation has led many to believe that he had crucial information regarding Disha’s death.

8. Sushant’s Father Alerted Police in February 2020

Long before Sushant’s death, his father had alerted the police about a potential threat to his son’s life [Source: 17].

Unanswered Questions and the Demand for Justice:

1. Why was the postmortem conducted in haste reportedly?

2. Why was the time of death not recorded reportedly?

3. Why did Sushant fear for his life after Disha Salian’s death?

4. What was the press conference he wanted to hold about?

5. Why did the police official reportedly ignore his father’s alerts months before his death?

Despite the CBI closing the case reportedly, the growing list of unanswered questions and contradicting evidence continues to fuel doubts about the official conclusion. The case of Sushant Singh Rajput is more than just a celebrity’s death—it is a test of the justice system’s credibility.
