@SimonCalder @LucyInTheSky22 @SimonCalder hoping you can help raise the media profile of that fact that the passport office just can’t process passports even in the 10 weeks they are saying.. holidays unlikely to happen in August despite applying in April or earlier. Our hol was moved twice during Covid.

@HM_Passport Simple and easy! 😂😂😂😂😂 applied 14/04, Liverpool lost old passport, I’ve informed you of lost ref no. 3 times…. Application still saying ‘send old passport or the application will be rejected’ 🙈🇬🇧

@SeddonsDaniel @HM_Passport I have the same problem, old docs sent 15th Apr. I had a call back yesterday after trying for 3 weeks and they said it’s probs lost and to report old passport as lost. I’m now waiting for a ref number. I then have to ring them back with ref no to continue application!🤷‍♀️🤬

@spilder5 @HM_Passport That’s what I’m hoping. We go away end of July so won’t be enough time to apply for a new one now, if I have to report old docs as lost. I got mine back within 2 weeks and old docs returned yesterday! Mine was Bootle, my daughters was Central Liverpool. 🤷‍♀️
