Every major technological breakthrough has been met with fear that it would destroy jobs, and AI is no different. I’ve heard the concerns that it will replace workers, invade privacy, or do more harm than good. But history suggests otherwise. Just as the internet created entirely new industries and opportunities, I believe AI will unlock the next generation of innovation.
Think about what’s possible, accelerating medical research, delivering scan results in minutes instead of weeks, or helping build technologies that once seemed impossible. Those advances will require engineers, scientists, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs to bring them to life. Rather than eliminating opportunity, I believe AI will create new industries and better jobs and staying competitive means investing in the compute capacity needed to make that future a reality.
🇨🇦🦅💩🚰 : The 2013 Safe Drinking Water Act was not fully implemented because First Nations leaders rejected it.
First Nations opposed the Act because it would have imposed clean drinking water standards deemed too high by First Nation leadership, due to a lack of Federal supports.
First Nations communities have been getting huge sums of cash from the government, for often very small populated communities.
This is on top of numerous indigenous partnership contracts.
Yet thanks to the Liberal government, in power since 2015, there is no requirement for FN leaders to account for how the money is spent.
Nice eh?
Wee Fergus still isn't strong enough to walk all the way to his grassy enclosure. To keep him from over-using his tendons (as they're still quite lax) the vets give him a ride. He enjoys this as much as he does the sunshine and green grass with his new mom, Mouse.
I can’t stand it when this little twerp claims to know what Canadians want.
And it’s insulting listening to the very people who have made life miserable in Canada tell us how they are supposedly fixing it.
Today, Mark Carney missed his 100th Question Period!
Congratulations!
No other Canadian Prime Minister has had such a dismal record.
Mr. Carney, show up and do your job.
It's what Canadians are paying you for.
Alberta lost a legend.
Alvin Libin was a remarkable Albertan whose generosity, leadership, and commitment to building stronger communities left a lasting impact on our province.
His philanthropic contributions benefited many, resulting in him receiving the Alberta Order of Excellence in 2004. His legacy of leadership and community service will carry on in the future generations of Albertans.
I extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Carney meets w/ Zelensky, tells him he & the Canadian people are outraged that a monastery was apparently attacked by Putin's regime.
Where is this outrage for the 120+ churches being burned and vandalized AT HOME IN CANADA by the Reconciliation Grift regime, @MarkJCarney???
Our friends at Sallee horse vans have offered to be a drop off location and shipper for any material items that people in KY want to donate.
Every single barn item you can think of is needed. There were a few surviving horses that need supplies and whatever is donated is one less thing trainers need to buy as they rebuild over time. Just stop into the office and tell them what you are dropping off🙌🏻
Please share to local groups and on your pages to get the word out❤️
I’m going to do everything in my power to make these horses known as more than a name, more than a news headline and more than a statistic. I want everyone to know them as their people knew them because I can tell you, they meant the world to those people.
Conservative MP Jamil Jivani, a longtime close friend and former Yale Law roommate of President JD Vance with whom he remains friends to this day, has repeatedly exposed how the Canada Revenue Agency, under the Carney Liberal government, continues Trudeau’s divisive DEI policies.
These policies embed racial preferences in hiring and promotions by prioritizing visible minorities, Indigenous applicants, and equity groups through self-identification targets. The CRA sidelines merit, competence, and fairness—signaling that identity trumps skills—while eroding public trust in tax administration.
This is Liberal racism disguised as inclusion.
JUST NOW
Liberals shut down debate after Conservatives try to pass a motion to study the proposed Alto high-speed rail project.
This $90 billion boondoggle will have devastating impacts on farmers and rural communities by removing thousands of acres of prime farmland out of production and jeopardizing the viability of businesses.
In fact, Liberal MPs representing rural, agriculture-focused ridings that could be affected by the rail line voted against conducting the study and shut down debate.
Farmers and rural communities are being asked to sacrifice their land and livelihoods, but the Liberals don’t want to hear from them.
Poilievre says PM Mark Carney was wrong on carbon taxes, pipelines, inflation, and deficit spending—and that Canadians are now paying the price.
"Mark Carney has made a club of Liberal insiders... fabulously rich while making everyone else poor."
It seems Premier David Eby cannot stop thinking about me.
Since our party chose me as leader, he has wasted no time taking shots, as he labels me extreme. The truth is clear: it is his NDP that has governed with dangerous extremism, driving British Columbia deep into debt, letting crime spiral out of control, and undermining the property rights that families rely upon.
I stand for lower taxes, safer communities, respect for families, and economic opportunity through our resources. Those are not radical ideas. They are the responsible path forward.
British Columbians are tired of failure. Together, we will restore hope and prosperity to our beautiful province.
TRUDEAU told Canadians to skip vacations to the USA, yet he was at the opening game of the USA for FIFA World Cup
Carney told us the same and most of his investment are in the USA
When will Canadians realize its Rules for thee and NONE of these Liberals care about Canada 🇨🇦
Her husband is employed by the company that got the Carney contract for the tolls on the Confederation Bridge. That contract is the one Carney sealed the papers for immediately for 10 years. Almost as bad as the Finance Minister's partner being a VP for Alto. 13 VPs who just got a bonus. Both sound fishy to Canadians.
The PM of Canada just said “it’s good to be home” in Ireland. This guy has zero loyalty to anyone or anything but himself. If you voted for this you should hang your head in shame, for this and so many other things.
To my fellow grassroots Conservatives across this great province: thank you for your energy and commitment.
Better health care starts with economic strength. A thriving private sector generates the revenue that sustains our public services. We will achieve this by unleashing British Columbia’s resources in partnership with Alberta and Saskatchewan through a bold Western Alliance.
Strong families, strong jobs, and strong health care go hand in hand. Let us build that future together.
