So far, we have seen virtually no sizable retail activity around the current bitcoin:native lows.
I consider that relatively bullish, since retail hasnโt spent this decline repeatedly buying too early and getting trapped beneath price like they did in 2022.
Back then, we saw several major bursts in spot activity while price continued flushing.
By the time the final bottom formed, retail had largely exhausted itself trying to front-run the low. That left much of their early participation underwater and unwilling to participate in the rallies that followed.
This time, BTC has managed to stabilise without the same rush of retail demand.
Which also means one of the largest cohorts of the market remains sidelined.
If the chart begins expanding again, that cohort will likely FOMO back into the market as price moves higher, and gradually help fuel the next phase of the move.
