Participants toured the facility with a RAB agronomist and explored Israel’s modern farming techniques, greenhouse and nursery management, advanced irrigation, and grafting. They learned techniques like grafting tomatoes onto wild rootstocks, precision irrigation, and pesticide-water mixing. They left equipped with valuable knowledge and are ready to share it with fellow agronomists and farmers in their communities under the YEFFA Eastern consortium.

Today, Amath Pathé Sene, Managing Director of the Secretariat of the Africa Food Systems Forum, and his team paid a courtesy visit to RICA leadership to celebrate our collaboration during the @TheAGRF #AFSF2024 Summit held in Kigali last September.

During the visit, they also recognized the outstanding contributions of 20 RICA alumni who supported with data collection and reporting at the summit. The team had the chance to explore our conservation agriculture program. We are proud of our alumni and congratulate them on their success at such prestigious international conferences.
