We have alternative schedules proposed that address student issues. Share if you think our schedule addresses major issues the current one has!
@HaltonDSB Why doesn't @HDSB_SMiller listen to student voices?
So many students have complained and you don't do anything to rectify it? Please listen to us! We matter!
@HaltonDSB@HDSB_smhwb@HDSBSocialWork If you cared about our mental health you would work with staff and students to make a schedule that helped us succeed!
@SOthinkingabout No more than two classes per day in-person? YRDSB was already using the one schedule so I'm not sure why they were allowed but we were not?
@Super_Halton Hi Jacqueline. Please consider these alternative schedules my classmates and I came up with that address issues we have with the one proposed.
Both allow for an easy transition into 100% fully in-person learning when it's safe to do so.
@eatoughr Hello Rob. Please consider two of the alternative schedules my classmates and I came up with.
The yellow and blue one is more even and could allow for an easy switch to fully in-person learning if variants are not of concern.
@AndreaGrebenc @MagdinStoica @HaltonDSB@HDSB_SMiller Please take a look at the attached schedules @AndreaGrebenc. A group of students came up with it and we'd love our voices heard when the board discusses alternatives tomorrow!
The yellow and blue one could easily switch to full in-person learning when it's safe.
@rationaloptimst@HaltonDSB No. We won't. Don't speak for us. Some of us are going into grade 12 and we're very worried about this learning module as we need good grades for post-secondary.
@ShelaghIbrahim @HaltonDSB Whatever they do, I hope they allow us to choose from the learning models again. It's not fair the schedule was released after we picked.
