Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has one of my favorite love confessions in anime.
After an entire series built around Equivalent Exchange, Edward tries to confess to Winry the only way he knows how:
"I’ll give you half of my life, so give me half of yours."
It’s awkward, sincere, and perfectly in character.
What makes the scene so great is Winry’s response. She rejects the idea of "half" and says she’ll give him all of her life if he gives her all of his. Both immediately start blushing, turning the moment into a beautifully awkward confession.
I genuinely think Hiromu Arakawa wrote one of the most touching love confessions in anime. It’s not grand or poetic. It’s simple, sincere, and perfectly fits the characters.
And unlike the 2003 adaptation, Brotherhood gives Edward and Winry the satisfying ending their relationship deserved.
Here is your reminder that I've put on two of the best GHC Heavyweight Title matches in the history of the company this year.
About to make that a third real soon.
Japan, I can't wait to be so deep inside of you that I'll have a hard time getting out.
Bring lube. Bring a lot.

Wishing a happy 70th birthday to the iconic Ms. Yoshiko Sakakibara!
Within Gundam, she’s best known as one of the franchise’s most enduring antagonists, Haman Karn, a role she has reprised across multiple installments including Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Sakakibara has also portrayed several other Gundam characters, including Mouar Pharaoh in Zeta Gundam, Nanai Miguel in Char’s Counterattack, and Topp in The 08th MS Team!
