Most people don’t realise how much regulation controls who gets access to what in finance.

If a crypto project isn’t legally recognised in your region, banks and exchanges simply cannot offer it to you. Not because they don’t want to. Because the law won’t let them.

@injective just took the formal step to change that for $INJ across all 27 EU countries.

MiCA is the EU’s single crypto law that came into full effect July 1 2026.

Injective officially published their MiCA whitepaper covering $INJ as the native utility asset of the Injective ecosystem.

The whitepaper covers everything $INJ is used for, gas fees, staking, governance, and the community buyback.

Within days Injective also filed Transfer Agent registration with the US SEC. CFTC regulated $INJ futures live since April.

Canary Capital’s staked $INJ ETF moving through SEC approval. Injective Policy Institute working directly with Washington lawmakers.

US and EU both covered same year.

The price hasn’t caught up to what’s being built yet.

Coinbase is migrating $INJ from ERC-20 to native $INJ on the Injective network. July 20–22.

Before this, $INJ on Coinbase was a wrapped ERC-20 token sitting on Ethereum. Not connected to the actual @injective chain, that changes now.

Once complete, @coinbase users get native $INJ directly on Injective’s network, no more bridging, direct access to Injective’s dApps, tokenized assets and AI agent infrastructure straight from the exchange.

▪︎ No action needed from holders

▪︎ Deposits and withdrawals resume July 22 with native support only.

Kraken did this in 2025. Now the largest US exchange follows.

The liquidity rail into Injective just got a lot wider.

currently @injective is now an official core member of the x402 Foundation under the Linux Foundation.

the same table as Google, AWS, Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, Coinbase and Circle.

x402 is becoming the universal payment standard for how AI agents pay for things on the internet. The same way HTTP became the standard for how websites work.

Injective is now formally helping shape that standard. this isn’t a partnership announcement. It’s a seat at the table where internet-native payments get defined. and Injective already has the rails to back it up, native orderbook, sub-second finality and AI Agent SDK live.

thousands of agents already running. 2.9 billion transactions processed. the infrastructure was already there. Now the governance seat is too.
