Not only was he selling his back throughout the match, but he was subtly NOT acting like the “good guy” with Penta too. Doing the Penta walk, hitting the dropkick, trying to outsmart him at every turn... then after the loss, you could immediately see the frustration on his face when he wouldn’t let Penta raise his hand.

Then backstage, when they saw each other again, Je'Von apologized for not being professional... but followed it up by telling Penta he’ll see him again for the IC Title. THAT is the type of character progression I love seeing.

Je'Von keeps adding little layers every single week, and the crazy part is he’s only just getting started. LOVED THIS.
