Last week as part of PSHCE Y13 took part in a cooking competition to prepare them for University life- Big Cook Little Cook stole the show creating a yummy meal for 4 costing £1.73 per head

Well done to all students involved tutors were very impressed by the skills on show!

Today during our PSHCE lesson @UniOfYork came in to speak to our Y12 students about another great opportunity. The Next Step York Programme allows students to reach higher educational goals and unlock alternative entry offers.

Year 12 art students are taking advantage of this beautiful autumn day to do a spot of open air drawing.

They are focusing on drawing organic materials using limited materials forcing them to think about tone, texture and shading techniques.

Last week our photography students enjoyed a day at Salt Mills in Shipley. The trip included an exhibition by local photograph Ian Beesley and the biggest David Hockney gallery outside of London

Yesterday @CUScarborough came to speak to our law and politics students. They heard first hand stories of the criminal justice system and practiced completing police witness statements. They also learnt about life in higher education and courses available

Today we joined students from @ERCollege and @Headlands_6form for a Bridlington Medical, Health and Social Care Academy tour of the Allam medical building at @UniOfHull with sessions on PBL from @HullYorkMed, ODP experience and clinical skills.
