Our Verve Dance Company (made up of Years 7-13) and our KS3 Dance Club both performed beautifully at The Showroom at the University of Chichester on the 5th June. We are so proud of you all - follow @angmeringdance on instagram for videos of their performance.
After a successful Rugby campaign, the Year 9s looked to continue a strong season with a win over rivals Durrington to earn a place in the final. After a marginal win over Durrington earlier in the season (27-20) the team knew it would be a challenging game.
On 22nd March the Arun Community Awards took place. Sasha Walby, winner of the 14-16 years category, was nominated for integrating Ukrainian students into her year group at The Angmering School. she even sat a Russian GCSE to help her communicate with the refugees.
🔴 Red Nose Day
The Angmering School joined in today with the rest of the country to collect money for this
excellent charity by paying £1 to wear something red in addition to their uniform. Not too late to
donate by using parent pay for the £1 donation.
We were delighted to welcome over 70 companies, colleges and universities to our Careers Fair yesterday. I would like to take this opportunity to offer a huge thank
you to Gavin and everyone involved in organising such a prestigious event for our school
and local community.

Our talented musicians here at The Angmering School are currently in their final rehearsals for their Music Mania performance at 6:30pm tonight.

Two Chinese ambassadors from the Fun Chinese Cuisine charity visited us this week. They worked with our y10 classes on Chinese cuisine, explaining about different regional foods in China.

The Angmering School pupil Charlie Wiltshire receiving his progress awards at his Air Cadets just before Christmas 2022. Charlie has a big ambition to join the RAF when he is older and is working towards his next steps in the cadets.

As we reach the end of a very positive (but long) term I would like to express my
thanks to every member of our school community for their hard work and support.

On the night of November 25th our 6th form students had their "big sleep out", and raised over £300.
Then on 29th November, over 80 students and Staff took part in our DanceAThon! The students were a credit to the school and really pushed through the final couple of hours!
We are delighted that we are an OfSted Good provider. I am immensely proud of all of the hard work which students, teachers, support staff and governors have put in over the past few years to bring us this far. We are all extremely positive about the future of our great school.
Thanks to all of the staff and students who have got involved in our ‘Wear something Spotty!’ day today. This has raised much needed funds for the Children In Need campaign which supports children and their families across the UK
In remembrance of all of those lost in wars and to mark Armistice Day we held a two minute silence across the school. A wreath laying ceremony was held and poems were recited. Thank you to all of the staff and students who supported this important event.
It has been lovely to see the students and staff back at school. Well done to our Sixth Form Dance students took part in the University of Chichester’s Dance Insight Day where they took part in a 90 minute technique class. They were all fantastic!
What an amazing half term: welcoming our Year 7s, residential trips & visits, brilliant ambassadors’ speeches, proud Y9 tour guides, fabulous teaching & learning, plus 3 open mornings, 2 open evenings, & 1 Ofsted visit. Enjoy the half term!

I would like to extend a huge thank you to all our students who gave their time to support the Open Evening yesterday. The smiling faces & positive attitudes from all of the students present was excellent & I am sure made the younger children feel at home. You were all brilliant!
