@PNS_News@CPEHN@CALimmigrant@LCHC_CA@CASpeakerRivas State budget leaders can still change course and reject or delay these harmful cuts. Urge Assemblymembers to stand up for our community’s health by using the letter tool: https://t.co/VFmEOguVqw
On Monday, #CAleg Assembly released their #CAbudget plan. Health and immigration advocates are deeply disappointed at the decision to double down on the worst of the @CAgovernor 's cuts and throw immigrants under the bus, particularly without the fiscal outlook to justify it.
“It's not just math,”our Rachel Linn Gish pointed out in this @PNS_News piece. “These are real people's lives, and people will lose healthcare coverage and get sicker, go into debt, and probably die sooner because they don't have access to healthcare.” https://t.co/xF6Ibs7Kzg?
📢 We're taking the fight for #OurHealthOurFuture & #Health4All to the road!
Next Thursday 6/4 we'll be holding a statewide bus tour urging #caleg to reject @CAGovernor's cruel cuts to immigrant health care in the #CABudget.

Over 4 million Californians are at risk of losing their health care if we don't act now. We call on the @AssemblyDems and @GavinNewsom to do the right thing and include revenue in the #CABudget for our health care
Thank you to @CASenateDems for continuing to stand up for health care consumers & patients with their State Budget "Fair Share" plan that raises needed revenue to backfill some of the harms caused by Trump's attacks on our care.
We also appreciate @CASenateDems rejection or delay of some of the horrible state-level proposals from @CAgovernor such as reinstating the asset test that harms seniors and people with disabilities, and imposing premiums and eliminating dental coverage for many CA immigrants
‼️ @CAgovernor is proposing to cut care for the members of our community who are struggling the most in his #CAbudget.
Now is the time to get loud and fight back for #Health4All!
Help us make sure #CAleg hears our plea; send a letter with our tool:

Health care should be protected — not cut. Californians need affordable coverage, not more barriers to care.

Despite a stronger #CAbudget outlook, @cagovernor's May Revise continues discriminatory cuts to health care for low-income Californians & fails to meet the need for revenue to backfill Trump's harmful health care cuts.

TODAY: May #CAbudget Revision proposed by @cagovernor continues to target immigrants, low-income families, older adults, and disabled people even as he touts a rosier budget outlook.
The #Health4All coalition calls on #CAleg to REJECT these cuts: https://t.co/l45viUFg5x
New @CHCFnews poll: 59% of Californians without a primary care provider— and 64% who've skipped care due to cost—have little or no trust in the health system.
