EMR Students looked sharp in their pewter scrubs today. I am super proud of this group and they are certainly going to set the bar for our EMR pilot program.
Huge shout out to @MrsHarris_CHS for winning the HOSA bundt cake. Mrs.Harris went out of her way more times than anyone during HOSA week to participate in dress up days and grab pics with our HOSA students. Thank you to everyone who participated. Way to go Mrs.Harris
Medical innovation. That's what this group chose for their HOSA competition and I could not be more proud of their success. They have raided old engineering supplies to design this set of bed tracks which reduces the work load of health care workers when moving patients.
@MrsHarris_CHS@AshleyMcRae11 Mrs.Harris, Thank you yet again for taking time to grab a pic with some of our HOSA students on western wear day. You must really want a bundt cake huh?😃
Day two of HOSA week. Dress like a healthcare professional and play minute to win it games. We also took some time to work on our competition projects for the upcoming state leadership conference.
@MrsHarris_CHS@AshleyMcRae11 Shout out to you Mrs. Harris. Your the first on the board. IYKYK #bundtCakesRtasty😋and thank you for taking time out of your day to grab a pic with these HOSA students. We hope to see many more throughout the week.
EMR students working on their HOSA competitive event project. I'm not gonna give away their idea just yet, but if they pull it off I could certainly see them going to state with this design. Stay tuned for updates!!!
We had an idea and ran with it!!! Foundations of health science students created google sheets and assessed vital signs on each of their classmates. Then incorporated formulas into their sheet to calculate their baseline vital signs.
Students are recording vital signs at rest and noting the changes after activity. Thanks to @AshleyMcRae11 for loaning a few of your seniors to help with this activity.
