Through support of Lwala Community Alliance, we have rolled out obstetric point-of-care ultrasound services to 14 primary health facilities. This follows the training of 14 dedicated healthcare professionals i.e nurses and clinicians.

WHO team is in Migori County to support the county on cholera outbreak response with WASH supplies & assessment of situation. 120 cases have been reported with loss of 6 lives. Ms Roselyn Otieno, Migori County Chief Officer for Medical Services & her team receive the supplies
Yesterday Migori County launched the AMREF's Last Mile Access Mobile Vaccination Clinic (MVC) trailer. This initiative involves the deployment of a Mobile Clinic that will provide integrated services to the residents of Migori County, reaching even the most remote areas.

Migori County has been rewarded the good progress towards achieving 5% in mother- to -child transmission of HIV/AIDs.
Reviewing of the Migori County Menatrual Hygiene Manangement policy to come up with regulations that will guide MHM in Migori. The regulations will be incorporated in the County's Environmental Health&Sanitation Act2021. The activity was supported by @Breakthrough_AR & USAID WKSP
