Namibia Frontline Health Workers is a non profit initiative that is aimed at providing support to all the health workers in Namibia during the Covid19 pandemic.

There seem to be a clear distinction - those who are yet to decide and those who are already convinced but caught between which vaccine to take. This can only be clarified through frank dialogues. Lets all clarify that all #COVID19 vaccines provide protection.

On 26-27 August, SFH’s mobile clinic provided its regular package of health services including #SRH #HIV and #COVID19vaccination information to Five Rand and Oshetu informal settlements in Okahandja. Over 200 individuals accessed the van, majority young people.

Only 28 individuals reported having been vaccinated against COVID-19 (6 fully vaccinated). Reasons for not having been vaccinated include distance to vaccination sites, not having enough information about which vaccine to take as “there is too much bad information”.

Indeed. They are our heroes and backbone of our health care system. We need to do more to protect them.

Recently, NFHWs' Wellness Center received a donation from Ompagona Fishing company of portable oxygen cans to the value of N$25,000. This will go along away to assist our frontline health workers in need and those with underlying conditions. Thank you!

We appreciate this partnership complimenting services already being provided through the Office of the First Lady @FirstLadyNam. In fact, volunteers who signed up for this service provision for FHWs are youth, thus placing @NamYouthCouncil at the center of their constituency.

Namibia Frontline Health Workers (NFHW) in collaboration with @NamYouthCouncil & office of the @FirstLadyNam initiated and launched the very first wellness centre for health workers within the Windhoek district.

This is a timely and smart partnership between @NamYouthCouncil and @HealthNamibia Namibia frontline health workers Initiative. Most of our frontline health workers are within the age group of 35 year.
