We were delighted to host Busia Governor @HonOtuoma who visited Naromoru Level IV Hospital for a benchmarking exercise. During the visit, the Governor, together with his team were taken on a comprehensive tour around the hospital.

Nyeri Health team inspected the ongoing face-lifting of the Karatina Hospital Maternity and Newborn unit courtesy of Vamed Health Finland. The project is at an advanced stage and expected to be complete by the end of April next year.
We hosted a team from @CDCgov led by Mr.Francis Muriithi for a consultative meeting on the progress of the implementation of Year 4 activities under the CDC-Nyeri CHMT Twaweza program.
The team also visited Wamagana Health Centre which one of the G2G sites.
We hosted a team from @MOH_Kenya who had visited Nyeri to review the progress towards eradicating polio. The team later visited Health Facilities at Karatina and Dedan Kimathi Universities, Kenyatta National Hospital and The County Referral Hospital for the assessment.
We are glad to host a team from @kutrrh who are advancing their activities in the research and management of esophageal cancer. All the Community Health Focal Persons and selected CHAs have been trained to equip them with essential knowledge ahead of a data collection exercise.

We conducted a site handover to the contractor of the Karuthi Health Centre in Chinga Ward, Othaya and operations will resume immediately after the exercise
The Nyeri County Executive Committee Members (CECMs) and Chief Officers (COs) have signed their performance contracts as a sign of their commitment to achieving specific service delivery targets that are verifiable and auditable.
