And he refuses to “move on” and stop calling it out.

In America, we have the right to think differently. We have the right to question those in power. We have the right to speak, debate, challenge, criticize, and even be profoundly wrong. But we do not have the right to take someone’s life simply because we disagree with their words or beliefs.

Those rights do not belong only to people with whom we agree. They belong to all of us.

Freedom of speech is not protected for popular opinions. It is protected precisely because there will always be someone who wants to silence the unpopular ones.

Our nation was not founded on the promise that we would agree with one another. It was founded on the recognition that every person possesses fundamental rights that government—and other people—have no authority to take away.

We honor Charlie not by responding to violence with more violence or hatred with more hatred. We honor him by refusing to surrender the freedoms that make this country worth fighting for.
Once we abandon the rights of others, we weaken the very rights we may one day need for ourselves.

Charlie Kirk gave his life standing up for what he believed. Now, every one of us must continue standing up for the freedoms that allow every American to do the same.

This case is so disturbing. Those poor little children. I can't help but think of them watching her strangle the life out of their siblings - one by one - horrific. Imagine the violence, confusion, crying and screaming. As a society, we cannot excuse her behavior. Depraved monster.

Why did the Port Authority tell people to remain seated? Even if the South Tower had not fallen, what would have been the downside of evacuating?

At the same time, telling women they can have it all may not be entirely true.

It is very difficult juggling a demanding job and raising children. You often have to make choices that compromise one or the other on a weekly basis. For example, if a child is sick and you are scheduled to give a presentation that day, you hope your spouse can take the day off and stay home because your boss certainly won't understand if you are a no show. Or there's a meeting that starts at 5 pm but you need to pick your child up at that time. Sure you can pay a fee, but it's a long day for the child and you feel like such a loser when you show up and all of the other children have already left, etc.

After a while, it really wears you down and you feel like you are failing at everything.

Looking back, I wish I had taken a hiatus from work and stayed home with my kids until they were old enough to go to first grade. The lie I believed was that taking a break would hurt my career - that was nonsense.
