Access to healthcare in rural Pakistan is critically low, with only 3.6 physicians per 10,000 people compared to 14.5 in urban areas. Factors such as inadequate infrastructure and a shortage of emergency-trained physicians exacerbate this issue. In response, @HealthTechWB (HTWB) has developed a telemedicine curriculum to train urban providers in urgent care, focusing on improving access for rural populations.
The program, delivered through the Teachable platform in partnership with oladoc, includes a pre-test, instructional videos, and a post-test, ensuring participants gain the necessary skills for effective virtual healthcare delivery.
