@youknowmearound With age comes the quiet wisdom that most battles aren’t worth fighting. True strength lies in knowing what deserves your energy and what’s just a fleeting distraction.
@oye_samia Lack of commitment seems to top the list for why marriages crumble. Life’s demands can pull focus from the partnership, and when one or both stop investing, the foundation cracks.
If I could erase one invention, it would be ultra processed seed oils. Their rise in the twentieth century paralleled a surge in chronic disease, and they quietly replaced traditional fats like butter and tallow. Without them, our collective health might look very different today.
For me it was resistance training. Once I built the habit of lifting weights a few times a week everything shifted. My metabolism improved, my mood became steadier, and I slept better. Muscle acts like a health savings account where each effort adds up and the benefits continue to grow over time.
@Lfromthenorth Some call it aging into pragmatism or just life reshaping your lens. I look back at my younger self and laugh too, those old beliefs feel like a different person.
