We tend to gather more than we need. This week, get rid of at least three items in your house that you no longer use or need. If possible, try and donate or regift those items if they’re still of use.

Gain a sense of accomplishment by trying a word search, crossword puzzle, Sudoku, or another puzzle that can provide you with a sense of reward when you’ve completed it.
Sometimes, it feels easier to think negatively about things than it is to feel positive. Practice looking on the bright side of things by challenging each negative thought with a positive one.
If you find yourself getting overwhelmed and distracted throughout the day by your worries, set a timer for 20 minutes, and allow yourself that time to grieve, cry, write, whatever.
Gratitude is a powerful thing that can boost your mood and make you feel more at ease with every aspect of your life. This week, take the time each day to list off a few things you’re grateful for.
Make a list of positive qualities about yourself, starting each sentence with “I am.” Try and aim for at least five items, but go on for as long as you want!
Bring some life into your living space by adding a plant or two! No matter if you have a green thumb or not, there are tons of houseplants to choose from.

If your closet is filled with clothes that you don’t like, that don’t fit your body, or just don’t bring you joy or excitement, that can be a real bummer. This week, purge at least a portion of your closet!
Create a mantra for yourself. Consider your goals for the next day, week, month, or even year and come up with a phrase that will help you feel motivated to stay on track and make real change.
Sometimes, when we’re stressed or feeling down on ourselves, we restrict ourselves from food (or certain foods) or forget to eat. This week, make sure to check in with your body more often.
