Lead portfolio for @CommonHealthACT + @CultureofHlthLd. Superpower is making order from chaos. Love people and policy. Am probably too enthusiastic about dogs.
My friend’s family just wants a test for their 76 year old mom but the hospital refuses & wants them to “let her go” - would you want that for your elder loved one? See her thread
Fairfax County Public Schools will be providing emergency grab and go lunches at no cost for students at five sites today and Monday, March 16, from 11:30 to noon. School-age students are welcome to come to any of the five sites to pick up a lunch during that time period. (1/3)
I'm less concerned about *my* health and more concerned about contributing to spread. Frankly, I trust my local public health workers but not the federal political/electeds to manage the response properly.
My niece & her partner are nominated for a national award for her work, Flower Bed, about moving through depression & acknowledging mental health. I am so grateful that this generation knows how to articulate and acknowledge trauma and pain. Couldn’t be prouder of you, Maggie!
Congratulations to our newest cohort of Culture of Health Leaders! These dynamic and innovative change-makers are changing systems to create more equitable futures and build a #CultureofHealth. https://t.co/xpBQOJRxKH
I had such a great convo with @TeenVogue about how young voters are embracing their power and grappling with this moment in our political history. Thank you for including me in this amazing piece, @thatlaurenyoung. 🙌🏾 https://t.co/gnwEqoajGs
@AmericanAir I’m a frequent flier. Wondering why I got 2 app updates about a delay, no update about a change back to an earlier time, and your gate agent can tell me I “can’t rely on the app for accurate information” when I arrive 30 mins from new flight time but plane is gone.

Advice: instead of doing the emotional labor of educating ppl with privilege - point them to resources (articles, videos, etc) and ask them to review those materials before engaging in further conversation so you're at the same level of education on the topic #2019RWJFLeaders
I’m lucky that this woman is my mentor. She has always taught me the advice she just shared with the room: “There is a right way & a wrong way, but within the right way, there is your way, there’s my way, there’s their way...the leader’s job is to create space.” #2019RWJFLeaders
