@Ballislife@TaiBoogie5@Bell19Raja@SteveNash@Suns Steve Nash is the godfather of the modern offense. Without him and that Dantoni offense in Phoenix, the game would have evolved slower. He is the personification of pace, spacing, 3pt shooting, and moving the ball quickly. He deserved those MVPs for more reasons than his play.
@pewresearch Instead of creating legislation that forced insurance carriers to reduce premiums, they increased your taxes to provide subsidies for other people to take advantage of. That’s how it works. It was a not-so-clever ploy to increase taxes and still appease health sector lobbyists.
@neontaster In the book, they play baccarat. 99% of viewers would have been clueless. It was a better choice for the movie, even if the hands were ridiculous.
@hahchei @statmuse We know… he didn’t want to play center and be stuck defending and rebounding. If someone drafts you, you’re still going to play. Ask Ace Bailey who vocally didn’t want to go to the Jazz
@strawhatJM@espn That’s how you would describe him. Perhaps it is even an appropriate description. Time will tell if he is effective in the NBA, though. Funnily enough, I’m a Hawks fan. It is likely that he is wearing a Hawks uniform. I really WANT him to be good, but I’m afraid I’m a realist.
@espn 6’8 (?) under the rim post player..? That works in NCAAB. It won’t translate well to the NBA. He will get drafted high, but he will be a flop. He reminds me of Jarrell Stokes from Tennessee. Kevin Love is his ceiling, but, somehow, he doesn’t even look as athletic or tall as Love
@neontaster@USSpaceLawyer 2) occupied our country, you would be the first to call this an affront to Sovereignty and International law. Now, you will claim that Trump IS legitimate, while ignoring the hypothetical. It’s about the power to say a regime is illegitimate and act on that. Legitimacy is opinion
@neontaster@USSpaceLawyer 1) Tiptoeing around the concept of sovereignty is a slippery slope, Noam. The power dynamic is the only thing your argument hinges on. If a coalition of countries, say Russia, China, Iran, and more, claimed that Trump was an illegitimate president. Then, they captured him and…
@AlanD7000@VinnysCorner1 Then beat Hagler, who is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated boxers ever. He is well known and credited, yes, but he was more of a MONSTER than people admit.
