@HeardMarka I would counter that the myth of the awkward HSer is just that child’s personality - there are awkward HSers, awkward PSers, awkward Private schoolers. Just like there are athletic HSers, PSers, and Private. Kids are going to kid and there are the same “types” among all.
Thxs for your opinion & corrections.
Most of the students of HS that I have been around did not have Social Skills. They may have had them with other peers but, did not have them with adults. These encounters were discussed among us!
I truly prefer HS.
@HeardMarka This is a myth and tells everyone with any experience with HS you do not really know anything about HS. Which is more “healthy” - spending all your time around peers for 13+ yrs or being around multiple ages always - which is more “real life”? It isn’t being around peers…
Home schooling. The problem with home schooling.....the children do not have any social skills.
This is very telling & they need this ability to make it in society.
The Real World!.
Teachers across America have distributed pornography to children, talked to them about their sexual "pleasure" and have brought drag performers in thongs to shake their privates in front of kids.
Yet how many arrests for child grooming, distribution, enticement or obscenity? 0.
In the aftermath of 1/6, the media accomplished exactly what they set out to do: make Americans afraid to exercise their 1st Amendment right to protest out of fear of Government retribution. If we’re afraid to exercise our rights in 🇺🇸, then we no longer live in a free country.
Psalm 42: 1-2 (KJV) - "As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?" ❤
I was going to be harsh!
To do that, would be nean. Your answer was calm & to the point! Exactly what she needed to hear! And I guess me, too! A great lesson for me. Thank you! Thank You for your
service to this Great Nation that you served under! 🙏 for U!
