@almond_sama Also it's beautiful graphically (good quality of graphics, good visual identity of each character and zone). If you're not a big fan of turn based combat I get that it's "only" 8/10, since gameplay matters a lot, but it's very hard to criticize it for anything else
@almond_sama It was genuinely so good for the story. I'll give you that the controls in the semi open world are a bit janky. But it delivers on everything it promises and sometimes it goes beyond what you'd expect: detailed and interesting combat system
@WhatleyLeague In an insane turn if events, British streamer No Arm Whatley turned down hefty amounts of money in a surprisingly ethical manner. It appears as though his brain has suffered alot of damage during his 3 story fall, but his humanity remained intact
@prxza124@WhatleyLeague People like you are the reason Twitter has a bad rep : I respond politely to the post and you just insult me without any argumentation whatsoever. With all the respect I can muster for you I shall answer in your own fashion : uninstall twitter or talon E off the balcony
@MpFlippy@WhatleyLeague Just because they tell us in advance doesn't mean it's okay. The whole premise of the OP is to say that high elo streamers don't want to create content around high elo soloq anymore, and the reason is low content and meaningless balance changes
@WhatleyLeague And it gets boring for everybody : you're a fairly good example of a "high elo streamer" who drifted away from soloq content : fun builds, arena and collabos are now a majority of your videos (just look at yesterday's Zeke vid). The marksmen only challenge is another example
@WhatleyLeague What I'm saying is we agree that high elo soloq is boring. It's lack of content is boring because riot has shifted it's focus towards other game modes than SR (probably in an attempt to lure in new players), and as a result high elo streamers, who don't care about that, are bored
@WhatleyLeague It's just that aside from Nidhogg there is no one making content in that niche. And it's understandable why : to make compelling content you need a lot of games, and the more compelling your content gets, the expectations towards your vids get higher, so you need even more games
@WhatleyLeague Saying they added 0 content is sorta fallacious : they added tons of content in both arena and Mayhem. But as a result they stopped putting out content for SR.
This coincided with the LP inflation at the beginning of the season, which made high elo soloq lose it's attractivity
