Weird new poll worker at voting this morning. He was wearing a cape and said before I voted I had to "answer me these riddles three". I think you used to just needed ID.
Just voted. When you tell someone like me to "make sure the boxes are completely filled in" though, understand that I will be there a little minute doing fine detail work.
All this politics talk reminded me about the time The Three Stooges were pledged as delegates to Hammond Egger, but then switched at the last minute and voted for Abel Lamb Stewer! BTW, the ham and eggs movement was real. https://t.co/8pJt1JH66U
There is an amendment on our ballot here to bar from voting "idiots and insane persons". That subjectivity frightens me. I think if they were more specific like "dunderheads and nutburgers" I could get behind it.
Favorite trick or treaters tonight: The tiny fella dressed as John LeCarre's George Smiley with his dad who is dressed as Zardoz. Tinky Winky in Star Trek uniform. THREE Charles Nelson Rileys and one Zombie Apparently Kid.
Was thinking that maybe things that got people through the Great Dpression might get me through my personal depression, and sure enough, creamed chipped beef and The Three Stooges do the trick!
