@ReneeDa55793921@Southern75_29 Make it yourself girl! If I can do it anyone can😂 Not that I can’t cook but Baking stuff like that with dough has never been my thing until I learned! Now it’s like second nature!!
You can’t be held accountable for what you genuinely don’t know..but once you know, looking away becomes a choice.
Let’s do a breakdown of the symbolism in just this one photo, shall we?
♟️ Black & white checkered floor : the Masonic mosaic pavement, traditionally representing the dualities of human existence: light/dark, good/evil, joy/sorrow, material/spiritual.
🌹 Red roses : associated across Christian and esoteric traditions with divine love, blood, sacrifice, secrecy and spiritual unfolding. They also complement the imagery historically associated with Mary Magdalene.
Within esoteric symbolism, the rose is symbolic of mystery, hidden wisdom and spiritual unfolding. Even the old phrase ‘sub rosa’ or “under the rose” came to signify secrecy or confidentiality.
🔴 Red dress + red pathway : passion, blood, sacrifice and transformation. *Notice how the red path cuts directly through the black-and-white floor.
👑 Gold throne-like chair : royalty, illumination and spiritual authority.
Visually you’re seeing:
Gold represent: illumination/divinity
Red represent: blood/passion/sacrifice
Black & white represent: polarity/duality
And look at the composition, she isn’t simply standing within the checkerboard of opposites…She’s seated almost sovereignly above it, surrounded by roses, while the field of duality stretches behind her.
This image consciously paints Dolly as a feminine figure positioned at the intersection of opposites, associated with love/sacrifice and hidden knowledge, seated almost sovereignly over the world of duality.
Once you understand the language of symbols, photographs can tell an entirely different story. Are we looking at decoration, or communication?
