Making assessment fun! Students were engaged in their assessment on patterning. Each student made a bead pattern, presented it to the class and answered some questions about their pattern. Patterns are now displayed in our classroom @HWDSBmath

A great day wrapping up our measurement unit. Grade 1’s were super engaged with our Pokémon task. They created a Pokédex and had to measure their Pokémon using 3 different units. The excitement in the classroom was amazing! @HWDSB #rocktonelementary

Our Mach Madness Tournament of books has come to an end. The winner is The Cool Bean! It’s been great listening to and discussing a variety of different stories.
