You want us to vote for a Con Artist who has been diagnosed with Rapid Cycling Bipolar Disorder, bouts of serious Depression, and who began his fundraising campaign by trying to take advantage of the recent murder of Charlie Kirk. A man who claims to have “mentored" CK, knowing that it was false, only because CK was kind enough to introduce him that way one time. Erika Kirk explained that VM never “mentored” CK, and stated that CK only introduced him that way one time out of kindness. Those fundraising Ads stopped immediately.
The next fundraising Ads were that he was “Endorsed” by none other than General Michael Flynn. Those fundraising Ads ran for months until General Flynn found out about it. and stated that he had never endorsed VM for Governor. Those false fundraising Ads stopped immediately.
Only recently Victor Marx claimed that the former Governor Bill Owens has endorsed him for Governor. A false claim that was brought to a screeching halt when it was confirmed that it was not true at all.
VM tried to induce fellow Republican candidates to sign a Support Agreement, and if I remember correctly, nobody wanted to sign it.
I’m trying to think about when Jared Polis was first elected Governor and what the Republican message was back then. Oh yeah, if I remember correctly it was Vote for our Republican candidate. When Polis was running for his second term as Governor, what was the Republican message? Oh yeah, it was everyone fall in line and vote for the Republican candidate for Governor.
There were things posted on Facebook alleging that Victor Marx had child abused his own Daughter and if I remember correctly the Son had insisted that the Ministry pay his Sister for the abuse she suffered as a child. It’s my understanding that she’s on the payroll. If for no other reason, to keep her quiet about it?
Then we come to the Real Estate deal. Victor Marx bought a house and property for $400,000 dollars if I remember correctly, lived in it for years. He sold this property to HIS Ministry for about 7 times what he paid for it, and pocketed the money. He still lives there to this day. What a deal that was. If you see pictures of him smiling, you know why. He took “donation money” for the Ministry and bought his own house with it, for about 7X what he paid for it.
Does that sound like someone who should be our Governor? Why in the Sam Hill would the Republican Party be telling us to vote for this person? Oh yeah, the Republican Party Delegates voted for him at the State Assembly in April. They made sure this man with money was on the Primary Ballot. No “vetting” of this candidate at all. Follow the money!
We get to the Primary Election. Senator Barb Kirkmeyer and Scott Bottoms received between them 60% of the votes. There was an unusual amount of Unaffiliated votes for Victor Marx. < Nefariously done to give us the worst candidate possible, and the easiest to be defeated? > At any rate there was just barely enough to push Victor Marx across the finish line and establish VM as the Republican candidate for the General Election in November.
The Republican leadership is touting that because he’s “our candidate”, we Republicans must fall in line and vote for this person. Why? Because they produced him. They voted for him. No other reason, they voted for him, so you must vote for him.
It’s no wonder why the Republican Party is in its death throes in Colorado. It’s no wonder why this State is a complete mess.
I’ve been a Republican for about 45 years but as a voter, with a brain, with common sense, I have to look for the best candidate for the Governor’s Office in November.
