@patricktyrant This! This is the kind of player we want in our team. I personally have nothing but praise and respect for him and how he handled himself. I really hope he is given the opportunity and excels this season.
@KevJStewart This! Gordon and Madueke had so much of the ball, yet did nothing with it. Mind you, not many of them did anything with the ball. I hate playing teams like that, but we have the quality, we just have to step up.
@mrdanwalker My Dad gets a call from him every year, and believe me, this isn’t a cursory two minute ‘happy birthday, hope you have a nice day’ kind of chat. He speaks to him for at least half an hour, reminiscing and being curious about his experience of Spurs. It really makes his day.
@JaiP72@MichaelBridge_ He’s been brilliant, ran his socks off on Sunday, as he usually does. He, along with the rest of the squad just needed a decent coach. Never ever want to hear the name Igor Tudor again. Cannot wait to see him next year, in a team that is fit and fully De Zerbi.
If De Zerbi can get that sort of tune out of an injury ravaged #thfc team, then what can he do if he's given the keys and gets proper players back… 👀🇮🇹
“Now we need to complete the squad with the first level of players because I suffered too much but so did the players, the board and the fans and we can't suffer like this as Tottenham Hotspur.”
De Zerbi knows. Everyone does. Enic pay attention.
We’ve been terrible this season. Even at times in tonight’s game it was hard to watch because of just how bad we were. So it’s not an excuse.
But every single week since the Sunderland game we have had the most ridiculous decisions you can imagine go against us. Decisions that aren’t even up for debate. Blatant, obvious. To everyone I speak to. Nailed on red cards. Nailed on penalties. An endless line of nothing free kicks that are given against us but never given for us. A manager who is being micromanaged by the 4th official in a way I’ve seen no other manager treated this season.
It will serve as no consolation if we do go down. But it’s been an absolute disgrace and you’ve got to the point where you just know you’re not going to get a thing. That one down there. Where a player doesn’t look at the ball once, knows exactly where Spence is, and chooses to go in with his elbow. It’s like we’re living in a dream
