Really enjoyed this training with Close Up! Learned so many engaging topics, especially strategies for helping students develop open-minded thinking. @KEDCGrants@passport2lead
Love the enthusiasm from this guy at our training with Jeff Urbin. It was fantastic—we explored very resources they have and discussed rebuilding after the Great Depression. @passport2lead@KEDCGrants
During Civics week our students explored what it means to be a leader by learning about the legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Through discussion and reflection, they learned that leadership can start with kindness, respect and using their voices to make a positive difference.
Students celebrated National Civics week with a special Community Helpers activity in our library. They took time to recognize the people who help our community every day by writing heartfelt thank you notes to community helpers. @passport2lead@DrJWEvansJr@KEDCGrants
I have loved diving into this incredible story with @KEDCGrants It has been really nice to be able to take my time and really process what is going on in the story as it unfolds. @passport2lead@DrJWEvansJr
Our fourth graders at NHES loved learning with our special guest Meteorologist Bill Meck. Throughout the day our students learned that weather isn’t just about forecasts it’s also about civics and community safety. @passport2lead@KEDCGrants@DrJWEvansJr@KingWendy_m
