During Civics week our students explored what it means to be a leader by learning about the legacy of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Through discussion and reflection, they learned that leadership can start with kindness, respect and using their voices to make a positive difference.

Students celebrated National Civics week with a special Community Helpers activity in our library. They took time to recognize the people who help our community every day by writing heartfelt thank you notes to community helpers. @passport2lead @DrJWEvansJr @KEDCGrants
