Mark Carney told the House of Commons that Pierre Poilievre "does not believe in Canada."

Poilievre's response deserves to be written out in full.

"It is my patriotic duty to fight for the people who are suffering.

By adopting "Anti-Palestinian Racism" policies that define Jewish indigeneity to Israel as a form of racism, the Toronto District School Board has essentially made Jewish history illegal in its schools.

Now the TDSB is being sued for more than $3.3 million.

Its former top lawyer, Paul Koven, alleges:

❌ The board and his ex-boss engaged in constructive dismissal — because he's Jewish.

❌ The board has consistently failed to adequately address "rampant" Jew-hate in recent years.

❌ The TDSB is a "poisoned work environment rife with systemic" Jew-hate that harms its students.

Many teachers, administrators, and students have approached me sharing horrifying experiences with the TDSB.

One individual lawsuit isn't enough to stop this institutional rot.

A separate class action suit should be launched against the TDSB — yesterday.

Highly recommend this week’s Full Comment Podcast on the state of antisemitism in Canada and Mark Carney’s cowardly response to it.

It’s both disturbing, because of government’s failure to deal with it, and frightening because hundreds, maybe even thousands, of Canadian Jews feel it necessary to leave, or consider leaving Canada because they no longer feel safe here, no longer feel welcome in their own country.

More than anything it’s an indictment of our political class for its failure - or unwillingness, more accurately - to tackle this crisis, which in any liberal democracy would or should be the government’s top priority.

But Carney knows that the Islamists and their white anti-Zionist progressive allies have become too important to Liberal political prospects to piss them off by speaking out against them or by acting to protect an increasingly vulnerable minority—something liberals like to say they stand for, unless that minority are the Jews with a politically inconvenient attachment to their historic homeland.

Here’s how the scam works: Consultants in India, sell the idea of, “Go to Canada, get free healthcare, we’ll find you a job, you’ll be able to then bring your parents, bring your grandparents, and you can all succeed because even if you don’t, the government will take care of you. You just have to pay us.”

The temporary for workers (TFW) family, then pools together generational savings to give to the consultant - usually $50 -75K.

That consultant then pays $30-$40K, to those business owners hiring TFWs.

So then that becomes the business model for those business owners: TFWs. Not the business itself, but the hiring of foreigners. Because that money is paid cash, making it tax-free.

Those TFW, then come here and they work 70 to 80 hours a week by force. Otherwise they get threatened that they will get fired and told they lose their temporary foreign worker status.

I’ve heard this from many victims.

The UN called it modern day slavery. They called out our TFW program.

The government even has a report by an independent third party they hired, recommending more resources for compliance because of the abuse that exists.

Ultimately, the victims are temporary foreign workers, our youth who are then displaced and unable to find work, us who have our healthcare systems choked, and those relying on food banks. Why? Because TFWs get a lower wage, get taken advantage of, and can’t afford to live, because they were sold on a lie.

It’s a shameful scam that the Liberals have allowed to flourish.

Overnight, the window of a synagogue near Bathurst and Glencairn was smashed. A place where families gather to pray was targeted, and the Toronto Police Hate Crime Unit is leading the investigation.
