Thursday we had a lovely story time with a Parent, all children had a bears/cuddly toy to enjoy a fun, active, story telling session ๐ป the pants even made a further appearance ๐คฃ Thank you so much for joining us ๐
Itโs been a busy few days in the nursery, Wednesday we read the book Pants and decided we would be crazy and put pants on our heads just like the Zebra ๐คฃ๐คฃ
We have had caterpillars ๐ in the nursery, they have gone through their lifecycle and turned into butterflies ๐ฆ today we let them free into the big bad world โค๏ธ
A reminder for parents and carers that stay and play will be on Tuesday 7th February from 8:30 until 10:00 This time our focus is Simon Sock! We will be practicing our sorting and matching skills and looking at patterns. Looking forward to seeing you all ๐
We have had a lovely festive week in nursery, tree decorating, Xmas crafting and snowball fights! Today we are enjoying our Christmas movie and jumper day โ๏ธโ๏ธ
We have had a lovely day celebrating St Andrews Day. The children have been painting their own Scotland Flags, dancing to Scottish music and they even helped prepare the potatoes and turnip for our afternoon snack.
As we have an open door policy in the nursery, children are out in all weathers. Please could you make sure that the children are dressed appropriately, as unfortunately we only have a small selection of wellie boots and warm clothing ๐
A reminder for parents and carers that stay and play will be this Friday 18th from 8:30-9:30am. This time our focus is the traditional tale the gingerbread man!
As this day is also children in need, children and adults are welcome to wear pyjamas/onesies on the day if they wish

On windy & rainy days we have been busy indoors. We have been playing numeracy games, dancing, playing hairdressers and being creative making bracelets.

Today we found an insect in the garden. A said โitโs like a scorpionโ we looked on the Insect Identifier App & discovered it was a Devilโs coach horse beetle!! We all learnt something new today ๐ #minibeasts#outdoorlearning#earlyyears
