Maybe if Ford hadn't wasted 7.8 BILLION on destroying Ontario Place, the Science Centre, alcohol everywhere, paltry checks in the mail...
We wouldn't be in the current fiscal state and we would have better schools and healthcare?
Unpredictable?
Doug Ford blew billions on a Therme spa,
billions on moving the Science Centre,
billions on new highways, tunnels, and airports.
That’s not “unpredictable.”
That’s deliberate.
Ontario’s deficit didn’t just happen
he built it.
Today I wish Ontario hadn't wasted:
-$2.2 billion on an Austrian spa
-$1 billion on an unneeded Science Centre
-$1.4 billion on early alcohol sales everywhere
-$3.2 billion on election bribe cheques
Every billion mattered.

Jamil Jivani telling millions of patriotic Canadians that our successful boycott movement is a “hissy fit” tells you who’s team he’s playing for https://t.co/tP1quix13f
🟥 That cringeworthy speech was 2/10, at best.
And pretty disgusting at that...
◾️ Rambling ON AND ON about fake refugees;
◾️ The need for unlimited pipelines;
◾️ Gun rights and the necessary freedom to shoot people;
◾️ Being unapologetically proud of the SETTLERS and builders of Canada;
◾️ Removing carbon tax and government oversight on industries;
◾️ Criticisms of Carney, China and the New world Order
◾️ The rights of Jews and Christians (no other religions mentioned);
◾️ The need to hire based on ‘merit’, not political correctness;
◾️ The need to end ‘cancel culture’, hyphens and pronouns.
This guy is living in the wrong country. 🙄
That toxic speech might as well have been written by Trump’s senior advisor and speechwriter, Stephen Miller.
The crowd wasn't impressed at all.
For anyone who would like to hear Mark Carney’s outstanding Davos speech in full here it is. This is what true global leadership looks like.
Canada should be immensely proud today, because they are leading the fight back when others dare not.

So Doug Ford is now a champion of EV manufacturing. Reminder - not only did he cancel the rebate program, he scrapped cap and trade (that helped fund it), and ripped out charging stations. This led to plumetting EV sales in Ontario, far behind Que and BC. https://t.co/57ybDwJ3ma
In an era of great power rivalry, Canada is choosing to be principled and pragmatic. To name reality, to act together, and to build what we claim to believe in.
“A report by The New York Times revealed that third-party advertisers like Canada Proud ran disinformation campaigns targeting Mark Carney. The Financial Times also exposed a coordinated campaign on X to support Poilievre and attack Carney’s reputation.” https://t.co/JIlwVvdBsd
Pierre recently said that only Conservatives can fix affordability,
Conservatives raised retirement from 65 to 67, They voted against Dental Care, voted against an increase to the Child Tax Benefit, voted against a National lunch program.
Conservatives care about Conservatives !
The National School Food Program ensures 400,000 more kids have access to healthy meals in school — saving Canadian families $800 a year on groceries.
Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives fought to block it. We made it permanent.
“As Pierre Poilievre’s favourability nears rock bottom, we remind you that he voted against the Canadian Dental Care Plan, $10/day child care, the National School Food Program and the Canada Child Benefit — all while whining about the affordability crisis.”https://t.co/JIlwVve9hL
I get why the Conservatives were desperate to spin "who cares?" into something it wasn't.
Because the true meaning will make PM Carney wildly popular.
"Who cares?" was a shot at Trump.
That's how I read it.
Carney is fed up with Trump and moving on.
