Only back on this stupid site to tell @VZelenskyUA that citizens around the world are watching him and supporting him. Sending support from South Africa 🇿🇦
Shout out to Siphe from @Afrihost who was on the phone with me now for over 40 minutes trying to troubleshoot my internet and force the activation of my line after 2 weeks of waiting for V*matel. He was kind, kept trying options and I’m FINALLY CONNECTED. Thank you 🙏🏼
Not sure if this is a “lie”, or if “escalation” just doesn’t mean anything. This has been escalated twice by @Afrihost , and allegedly also by @vumatel but no response from Vumatel to my Afrihost account … and we’re all just waiting around for Vumatel to reply🙃
@vumatel Allegedly. Someone said that to my Google review 2 days ago.. and yet, no response to Afrihost on my query, no line activation either. And no timeline of when the line will be activated @vumatel
@vumatel Neither I, nor my ISP can actually contact @vumatel directly. So we have to send angry tweets and Google reviews to be heard🤣 (hopefully!). Ridiculous.
I don’t need an installation, I don’t need a technician to come to my house… the tenant before me was connected to the line fine. All @vumatel need to do… Is turn my line on, but somehow this takes days and days to even get a response
When our new Miss SA said the first thing she’ll focus on is captions on news bulletins so her community can also follow the news 😭😭😭🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I realised we take such things for granted 😭the little things are indeed the big things 😭🙏🏽
Representation matters 🙏🏽

The ANC has the best gender parity in their lists. Some parties are shockingly low.
Great analysis by @GenderLinks predicting that SA may drop from 12th spot in the global ranking of women’s political participation (WPP) to 20th

About 13 million people eligible to register to vote didn't.
About 11 million people who registered didn't turn out (subject to final numbers)
That's the estimated number of our compatriots who don't see change and a better life in a ballot box. There lies our work for years.
I’ve been saying, way before this election: The problem with the left is that we want to agree on 10 things to come together. If we agree on 9 and disagree on 1 we focus on that one and won’t come together. The right will agree on 1 thing out of 10 and consolidate based on that.
On todays episode of unhinged things that are happening in Cape Town, these people are charging R6000 a week for you to look after their dog.
They’re charging you. To look after their dog.
