We were delighted to be able to help out Feeding the Community Stockport by donating small gifts for Christmas, for them to distribute to their clients. Many thanks to our wonderful members for once again coming up trumps

Our members pulled out all the stops this year to raise an amazing £2645.83 for Blood Bikes Manchester. Here we are presenting the cheque to them at our AGM on Tuesday. They very kindly presented us with a certificate as thanks for what we’ve done.

Despite being in lockdown or having restrictions for most of the last two years we were delighted to still be able to present Stockport Young Carers with a cheque for £1367.60 raised by our members.

Once again our members pulled out all the stops. 115 Easter Eggs donated, via doorstep Covid safe deliveries, for our charity Signpost Stockport Young Carers. So proud to be President of such a wonderful group of ladies.

To celebrate International Women’s Day Heaton Mess WI members are holding a special Woman’s Day zoom quiz tonight. We are also asking our members to post photos with a short write up of any woman that has made a significant impact on their lives or has inspired them in some way.

Heaton Mess WI have created a family trail in Heaton Moor Park.Find the hearts hidden in the park and collect the letters on them.Once you have all the letters rearrange them to make a word.The trail will be up from 12-21 February 2021 We hope it brings fun & joy to our community

As a WI we have come so far and are continuing to engage with our members via zoom speakers, meetings and WhatsApp groups. We have a fabulous group of members and we all can’t wait until we can meet up in person again
