Penn State is still the dual meet favorite, but Virginia Tech is more dangerous than most people think. Once you factor in Eddie Ventresca, Bo Bassett, Caleb Henson, and Sonny Sasso, this matchup gets interesting fast. I still lean PSU because of the depth, proven All-American firepower, and bigger bonus-point upside… but VT has enough top-end pieces to make it uncomfortable.
BH Sports projection: PSU 24 – VT 12
The path for the Hokies is clear: win the star matchups and keep Penn State from racking up bonus points. Do that and this dual turns into a real fight. Do you think Virginia Tech has enough top-end firepower to seriously threaten Penn State right now, or is PSU still just too complete?

If Penn State and Oklahoma State wrestled a dual tomorrow, who are you taking? 👀
I’ve got PSU as the favorite, but OSU absolutely has the firepower to make it close if they flip the swing weights.
Projected dual: PSU 20-14 OSU
Win probability: PSU 68% | OSU 32%
Too high, too low, or dead on?

David Taylor really left Penn State with the medals on and took the whole show to Stillwater 😂💔
Cael staying cold. Wayne taking it a little harder.
And now Taylor’s saving a date every year for PSU 👀

I like Ruiz at No. 1, but Lockett vs. Gallagher is the spot that jumps out to me. Lockett’s upside is ridiculous, but Gallagher brings a lot of proven college experience.
@TheCradleZone what separates Lockett at No. 2 for you right now, and how close do you think that gap is between 2–4?
Islam keeps checking every box, and at this point each title defense is less about proving he belongs and more about building the résumé. Another win at UFC 330 puts him even deeper into the all-time lightweight conversation. Where do you rank Islam right now among the greatest lightweights ever, if he win is he already the Goat?
@RAFWrestlingUSA@foxnation@ChadBronstein@IzzyStyle@EBischoff Arman’s pace and chain wrestling are a brutal problem, and if he starts getting to Danis’ legs early, I’m not sure Dillon has an answer. What’s Danis’ best path to actually make this competitive?
End the hate Russell Westbrook is an all-time great.
The triple-double record will always headline his legacy, but his peak athleticism, pace, and competitiveness at point guard were ridiculous. We might never see another player quite like him. Where do you rank Russ among the greatest point guards ever?
At this point, the question isn’t whether Usman Nurmagomedov can compete in the UFC, it’s who can actually test him. He’s been so dominant that the more interesting conversation is stylistic. Who on the UFC roster has the wrestling, pace and striking to make him uncomfortable for five rounds?
Oklahoma State’s 2026-27 lineup is LOADED 🤠🔥
I’ve got the Cowboys with a 20% chance to win the NCAA team title and a 1st–3rd finish range going into the year.
Jax Forrest at 141. Jayden Raney at 133. Robideau, Vega, Merrill, Ross, and Dee Lockett give this team real firepower.
Too high, too low, or dead on?
What’s the biggest take you agree or disagree with on this graphic — and can OSU actually beat Penn State? 👇

@JonHeyman@BleacherReport Jon, of the bubble teams you mentioned, which one is closest to making a meaningful move right now and what position are they prioritizing?
Pretty wild to see Rocco building something like this while he’s still competing at Penn State. The only other college wrestler I’ve heard of starting a club while still in school was Tyler Kadish at NYU, doing it at this level while chasing NCAA titles makes it even more impressive.
The velo gets your attention, but the command at that age is the part that should really have scouts locked in. Plenty of kids can light up a radar gun — locating it consistently is what separates a thrower from a future big-league pitcher.
My 3 prospects I’m watching closest: Dylan Seward, Lubin Rincon, and Connor Salerno.
This class looks loaded. Who’s your guy from this group?
@__randy_lahey_@BigBob4769 OSU is not the favorite only the favorite can be upset? I don't think anyone in the history of sports the underdog got upset unless it was in a parody movie.
Garry can absolutely become the face of this generation of Irish MMA, but catching Conor is a completely different standard. McGregor didn’t just win fights he changed the sport’s reach and turned Irish MMA into a global story. If Garry keeps stacking elite wins, the comparison gets a lot more interesting.
