CERN Trip 2026 @BishopHeberHS Day 3 Students visited the 'Broken Chair' Sculpture - a protest against land mines. Then a tour of the UN Geneva Office covered the history of the collaboration of 193 member states. Finally, a visit to the Science Museum with 'hands on exhibits'
CERN Trip 2026 @BishopHeberHS Day 2 Students have crossed into France from Switzerland to explore the ALICE experiment and the CERN Control Centre to discover how particle physics is put into practice.
CERN Trip 2026 - 25 @BishopHeberHS sixth form A-level physics students have spent their first day touring Genèva's old town visiting Alabama House and the Reformation Wall.
Bishop Heber Science Fair is back on Monday 9th March, 4.30pm-7pm in the Sports Hall.

To celebrate The National Year of Reading 2026, we are promoting The Portico Library's reading and writing competitions. These are open to all students Years 7-13 and students can choose to enter a piece of creative writing or a book review (or both!).
Students should be commended on demonstrating the high levels of dedication, organisation and commitment needed to complete an EPQ. If any Year 11 students planning to join Heber Sixth Form next year are interested in learning more about the EPQ, they can talk to Mrs Budgen (2/2)
Celebrations were recently held for 27 students in Year 13 who received their Extended Project Qualification results on January 8th. 60% of students achieved a grade A* or A, which is a fantastic achievement, and almost 80% achieved at least a grade B! (1/2)
