I was born in 1961 in AMERICA.

In school, I recited The Pledge of Allegiance TO AMERICA - and I meant it.

I went to a WHITE Catholic college, not an HBCU.

I got ahead through hard work and good education, not DEI and Affirmative Action.

My loyalty belongs to America, not to any FAKE AFRICAN identity.

My history is American history, not African history.

My colors are red, white, and blue - not red, black, and green.

My anthem is the Star-Spangled Banner, not the Black National Anthem.

My flag is the Stars and Stripes, not the African Union banner.

My symbol is the bald eagle, not the Black Power fist or the letters "BLM."

I celebrate Christmas, not Kwanzaa.

I celebrate Independence Day, not Juneteenth.

I support The U.S. Constitution, not the weaponization of it against American citizens.

A man suddenly grabbed a child from his mother and demanded that she hand over her other children. But he had no idea a 16 year old wrestling champion was nearby.

The mother fought back as people rushed in to help, but the man struck her and kept trying to take her kids. She managed to get them inside the convenience store and behind a door, but he followed them in.

That’s when Canaan Bower came running over.

Canaan sprinted inside and found the man trying to get into the room where the family was hiding. He grabbed him, body slammed him to the ground and used his wrestling training to pin him there.

For more than five minutes, Canaan held him down until deputies arrived. The mother and all of her children were safe.

Canaan was only 16 years old. The skills he had spent years developing for wrestling ended up helping protect a mother and her children when they needed someone most.

Canaan is the kind of young man the internet should be talking about. He deserves recognition for this one.
