In Genesis Rabbah (a homiletical commentary), the Jewish sages tell us that "The Sabbath is a fore-taste of the World to Come." In this talk on the Biblical typology in Genesis, we see how this and other concepts point to Christ: https://t.co/mb56Zy4SWD
"The final aim of the Election is the vocation of Israel to beat collective witness to the Messiah. It will be compelled to do so in every phase of its history, positively or negatively, in ways varying with "its stand toward salvation"... (Fr. Elias Friedman, 'Jewish Identity')
"What prevents the rabbinate from acceding to the demand for reform is the lack of legislative power. The consciousness of the limits of their authority pays tribute to Jesus who deprived rabbis of it in the first place...." (Fr. Elias Friedman, 'Jewish Identity)

Cardinal Burke’s approach to this (drawing from Ex quo) is to distinguish between those which were formally Jewish (i.e. one was intending to observe the Old Law) and a similar material practice celebrated in the light of Christ (and hence practiced as part of the New Law). St. Thomas’s concern was that the continued celebration of the Old Law as such would imply that Christ had not yet come. But we also have many practices in the Church which are drawn from the Old Testament. So it does not seem one can necessarily conclude a materially similar practice is necessarily Judaizing.
There are a staggering amount of prophesies of the Messiah in the Old Testament, as Dr Feingold illustrates for us in today's talk on Messianic prophesies- this time about the Messianic kingdom: https://t.co/X1C3NSrpz1
