Also, I laughed so hard at Bowman's story about babies calming him. The nursery volunteers called my husband the baby whisperer when our kids were babies.

@ThabitiAnyabwil Yes! My oldest daughter has autism and is embarrassed by nothing -- very matter of fact about things. As a result my son (10) has been around lots of period talk and talks about it matter of factly himself. ❤

@KaitlynSchiess My family really enjoyed it as well. As a mom of teens and preteens I am in the thick of it. Rather than focusing on Mei's rebellion I took away an increased desire to parent my kids so they are comfortable being who they are rather than who I think they should be.

@tweetraychang Had this same surgery with a turbinaye reduction three weeks ago. Recovery was amazingly easy and I can breathe freely for the first time in years. Praying yours goes just as smoothly.

@KSPrior Beautiful. One of those killed in Kabul is from my town. I learned today that she was a longtime member at my church (our family is new to the church). Tears from the pulpit as our pastor prayed. So heartbreaking and so close to home.

@BethMooreLPM Not to mention the idea that all women must stay home and a desire for anything else should be "cured" by having another baby. I suffered years of guilt feeling like I didn't love Jesus enough because I wanted to work. No way will my girls be taught this rubbish.

@sheilagregoire My husband and I went through it in a Bible study when we were first married. We were in our 30s and I am a lawyer. Not the typical audience. When we realized every chapter repeated the same point about live and respect we stopped reading. Glad we did.

@ThabitiAnyabwil I learned my church leadership has not addressed Christian nationalism and other topics because the people who give the most money would leave. These givers even ran one of our only black members out for speaking his mind. Is it better to go or stay? Heartbreaking indeed.
