The Ministry of Education has now contacted the National Mathematical Centre to request that it submit all national Olympiad competitions it organizes.
They want to start sponsoring all of them to the international finals now.
They have started contacting schools already.
This was abandoned in 2019.
I hope they don’t politicize it.
Our children need to shine on global stages.
@drpepple_ Knowing how to do life and seek satisfaction however it works best for you matters. And that’s where people get it wrong. Realities differs.

You don’t tell the deaf that war has started.
Proverbially meaning
Even the least aware of persons wouldn’t need to be told when obvious danger approaches/is within sight/sound.
I’m always looking for an excuse to fly the Airbus A380
Instead of flying direct to London, I would rather fly from Lagos to Dubai then Dubai to London just to get on this.
It’s a marvel.
This evening, I paid a New Year visit to the immediate past Governor of Abia State and Ambassador-Designate, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, at his country home in Umuobiakwa, Obingwa LGA, to congratulate him on his recent nomination by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR as well as present to him my two year scorecard as the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
I also visited former Governor T. A. Orji, who recently joined our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), at his residence in Umuahia. I commended him for this courageous decision to align with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President, which continues to drive transformational efforts across our nation.
As Leaders of the State, it is imperative that we continue to work together for the benefit of our dear state and its people. Our commitment is to ensure the wellbeing of the people and the development of our state
I remain grateful to both former Governors for their genuine support and constant words of encouragement to me in my service as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives. Together, we will continue to promote peace, unity, and progress for our people, our state, and our nation.
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike lands in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and is received by Senator Magnus Abe and Senator Barry Mpigi, who recently defected to APC.
Simp attitude spotted ab initio. You don’t have any business with how she gets to yours to render a service. Out of goodwill keh…lol. That cost should be factored into her charge as a business person. You literally enabled the behaviour.
So there was this Nigerian lady posting mouth-watering food content. Me, I like food, and honestly, good food is my biggest headache whenever I’m in the UK. I spend like £250 a week for my weekly food supply from Enish. When I saw her page, I thought, “Ah, finally! Someone close to me in London who can cook proper Naija food.”
I slid into her DM, we started talking, and somehow we agreed that she’d come over to my place and cook for me. I was genuinely excited, problem solved, right?
Out of pure goodwill (she didn’t even ask), I sent her £50 for transport. Just to encourage her. She didn’t acknowledge it, didn’t say thank you, nothing. After a while I called and casually asked if she saw the money I sent. Her reply? “Oh yeah, I saw it. What’s it for?”
I said, “it’s for your transport fare.”
This babe looked me in the eye (well, through the phone) and said £50 is not enough for her Uber. Meanwhile, from her place to mine is literally £15.50 on the Piccadilly line plus one short bus ride. I was shocked but I calmly asked, “do you take Uber everywhere you go in London?” Because in my head I was trying to understand, is this DJ Cuppy level? As in a Billionaire daughter vibes? Because from everything I’d seen, she didn’t look like it.
Her exact words were, “If you can’t afford Uber for me to come, then I’m not coming again.”
I just calmly said, “Okay, no problem. Please can you send the £50 back?” and dropped my account details.
Two days passed. Nothing. No refund, no message, nada.
It wasn’t until I made a random general post (no names, or @ ) just educating people that collecting money from someone with a promise and then disappearing can actually be treated as fraud in the UK, that’s when she flew into my DM cursing me out left and right. She sha finally sent my money back.
There are good Nigerian women o but the very entitled ones outnumber the good ones and that’s probably because Nigerian men are simps and the women have been conditioned to see every relationship as transactional. They treat every man approaching them as a cash cow. I am much older now so I can’t simp for any woman. We need to teach our young men never to simp for any woman. It limits your prosperity. Spend that money you are spending on that ungrateful babe on your family members. I have many interesting stories of my escapades with Nigerian women. One day I might write a book😂
