📢 Out of an abundance of caution, all non-essential Travis County offices, facilities, services and parks will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, due to icy road conditions. The Travis County Commissioners Court voting session is canceled and will be rescheduled at a later date.

Laid end to end, that’s nearly 22 miles of debris — about the distance from downtown Austin to Cedar Park.

🚨 UPDATE: Travis County Judge Andy Brown has issued a disaster declaration in response to severe flooding.

It will help coordinate debris removal, search and rescue operations, aid for displaced residents, and state/federal support.

Travis County encourages all residents to be proactive in wildfire preparedness.
