📖 NOVALYNE, my debut fantasy novel, is finally out! A long journey comes to an end, and I couldn't be happier that my debut fantasy novel is finally out in the world for readers to enjoy. As an experiment, I decided to self-publish the project so that I may learn exactly what it takes to release a physical book into the world. Everything from the writing, layout, typesetting, typos, mistakes, wrapping, postage, sweat & tears is being done entirely by hand (except for printing and binding, which was done at a local factory here in the UK - more on that at another time). I had a chance to celebrate the occasion with a private launch party with friends and family, and what a wonderful event that was. It has taken much to get to this stage, and I couldn't have done it without their support. As for the process of writing a novel - it's been tremendous amounts of fun (and work, of course, but that is assumed about anything worth pursuing). If you've ever had an inkling to write something, I'd encourage you to give it a shot. The journey itself is worth it. I'll be sharing more thoughts regarding the project in the coming weeks and months too - if you're interested in that sort of thing, keep your eyes peeled! I’ve been working away in the background getting Novalyne ready for production, and I’m pleased to share with you an update today. I received several print tests of the main body, of the purple case, and of the cover jacket. I’m really pleased with the quality of them - the text and spacing feels appropriate for the royal print size, the case feels smooth to the touch, and the jacket looks fantastic. In the meantime, pre-orders are still open before it goes on sale officially.

Meet Enzo, the main character of my book Novalyne. It was quite a cathartic process to go from nothing to having a portrait of him. From an abstract thought to a tangible image. It helped tremendously when it came to writing the book. More characters to come soon!
