@woolismybread Something Iโll need to attend to soon. I remember when straining posts would last for 30-40 years, now youโre lucky if they last for 10.
@jude22118 It would indeed be lovely to see a return to those shops. 30 years ago we had them, and if people chose to support them they would most likely still be there, but sadly most opted for the convenience of supermarkets. I know this first hand as I had one.
@YesterdaysBrit1 I had a greengrocers over 30 years ago. Supermarkets effectively killed us. Our produce was fresh every morning, and sold loose, but sadly people chose convenience to the point that the 4am rises, in all weathers, followed by the 14 hour days were no longer worth it.
