[STUDENTS' FORUM (former Mahe Col Students Forum) @ForumMahe]

SG Sri Tushar Mehta is WRONG when he said UGC is the only body empowered to confer degrees.
UGC Act says It is the prerogative of Universities. see sec.22
UGC is NOT empowered to confer degrees.

We are not asking you to gift us our degree without any evaluation, all we are asking is to evaluate our performance based on current & previous semesters average mark.

-Yet another Intervention Application filed in our #UGC Petition, seeking State Autonomy!

-But we are strongly opposing it!

-We neither want State Autonomy nor University Autonomy at this stage

-We just want Cancellation of final exams & degree on the basis of past performance

For those students who have plans of going abroad, I'm afraid they will face a year loss, and WHO is to BLAME? Can anyone take the responsibility for our YEAR LOSS?

It is not about the "exams", rather our "lives". It's been four months since the nationwide lockdown, still the ministers couldn't decide whether/how to conduct these exams. It's high time they realise that some students have plans of going abroad.

Home Minister @AmitShah has tested positive for #COVID19.

If he who is well protected & followed every protocol can COVID +ve, just imagine what will happen to students who are being forced to appear for final year exams?

Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary is known as “Amazon of the East” in Assam.

Last month, Modi Govt gave permission for Coal Mining inside the sanctuary. Raise your voice like you did for Aarey. Save the rainforest for Assam, for India 🇮🇳
