Q3: I was so impacted today while reading Dr. King, by the theme of time. He spoke about how in life he heard the words “wait” and “never”, describing how “justice too long is justice denied.” This stuck with me because it opened my eyes to how important reform is. #sensemchat
Q2: I think effective civil disobedience emphasizes injustice and equality, “one has not only a legal, but a moral responsibility to obey just laws. Conversely, one has a moral responsibility to disobey unjust laws.”#sensemchat
I believe to Dr. King, “turning the other cheek” is using non violence to create an larger impact. In a world full of anger and hatred, Dr. King feels we do not have to fight and we certainly don't have to run to effect positive change. #sensemchat
