@ClassicalLogosJ@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas IQ is not the same as impulse control, although they are linked (Shamosh, N. A., & Gray, J. R. (2008)). They are both cognitive/behavioural factors which would have affected survivability for our distant ancestors.
@ClassicalLogosJ@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas It's an evolutionary theory, and much like other scientific theories, there isn't an experiment one can run to prove it beyond doubt. It is simply the leading explanation for the experimentally observable differences between individuals from Africa and Europe in cognition.
@ClassicalLogosJ@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas Since the Europeans (and certain parts of East Asia) alone had to face the propsect of a "deadly" season, which one had to plan ahead for in terms of resource collection, and eventually farming.
@ClassicalLogosJ@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas Unfortunately, a single school's academic results (which isn't nearly the most g-loaded metric one can analyse) is not enough to disprove decades of science concerning racial differences in IQ. (1/2)
@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas Your moral preconceptions about the world will not let you accept the scientific basis of Cofnas' claims, no matter the evidence. These findings make people very upset, but that doesn't detract from their truth value.
@Bushra1Shaikh The boomer cohort within Restore do not speak to the grievances of the young members. Nationalism has been stifled for far too long. A nation is a people, connected to the land by over a millenia of ancestry. Britishness is a diluted concept now which has lost all meaning.
I wonder how, from a political science and psychological point of view, the outcome of tonight's game will influence the outcome in Makerfield, if at all?
Will the impartial @bbcquestiontime feature a panel member from @RestoreBritain_ when they come to Makersfield, or will it be radio silence when it comes to a genuine contender for the seat?
