@thomasthecat Since omni-mechs can basically swap and repair in fractions of the time of IS mechs, bolt on panels of armor made of advanced composites could give that sleek look.
The risk here is that the Word of Blake mechs start to tap that well also, though they are more angular than round
@BDaveWalters@Vilis_Farthuk@RobertGReeve Part of the issue is the design (2014 as well) is built around a frankly unrealistic number of encounters per long rest (and 2 short rests).
Try longer rest rules or quadrupling encounters per day and it might work out.
Again, more work put on tge DM's shoulders.
@BeardedHalfling@THELaunval The PHB has costs for spellcaster services at ~50gp per level of spell IIRC. Far outside of the price range of your average peasant who makes roughly 76.5 gp annually. Most PCs start in non affluent backgrounds with their starting gold/equipment being a sum of their life's work.
We are SOOO excited to be part of this amazing cause for charity! Our DM has lots of shenanigans cooked up for this one-shot. Stay tuned for the hilarious donation incentives we'll have during the stream.
Watch live on Sunday Sept. 24th at 12pm Pacific/3pm Eastern!
@DungeonPapa Definitely need the all-too-realistic DM at the end of their sanity playing all the animals pack.
Featuring: squirrel, other squirrel, suave squirrel, wise-ass-owl, dad-joke-owl, horse, warhorse, crazy horse, pretty pony, sassy cow, all three pigs, and here comes the rooster.
@Virtual_Spectre@CastersCantrips They absorb the entirety of their meal, utilizing inorganic and toxic components into more shape-shifting options/material. This is how you might end up with a mimic posing as a wizard's alchemical laboratory or a vat of leather tanning reagents.
