SES is so thankful for our School Resource Officers! We love when they just stop by to visit our students and build relationships with them! #SESPCPRIDE#SchoolSafety@JoeBuerkley@HegyiMark
I don’t need our teachers to be the most talented, the most innovative, or the most tech savvy. I need them to care about kids… work well with their colleagues… and come to work every day, excited about making a difference.
SES had another HR class from the Class of 2026 on @B105 this morning saying the pledge. Take a few minutes and listen to what a great job they did representing our school and county https://t.co/NyskufeDsN We are so PROUD! #classof2026@mrsconrad13@JoeBuerkley#SESPCPRIDE

SES had a GREAT first 3 days of the 18-19 school year! So good to see our students excited to be back in class and our staff working with our students to begin their journey on this year’s school theme “Rocking Respect!”
As a principal, it is important to remember that we are not the ONE that makes a school successful, but we are the ONE that can keep a school from being successful!
Now we hear the teachers' pension plan is "12-15 years from running out of money." In fact the actuary says in 15 years--with no cuts or changes to benefits--it will grow to 72.7% funded. It will reach 82.9% at year 20 & achieve full funding in the decade thereafter #kyga18
As administrators... most of us are just making it up as we go. There’s not a manual for the stuff we deal with each day. We just try to support the teachers and do right by the kids. Just trying to employ empathy, love, and common sense.
